Medical Weight Loss Clinic honors one of its own this Veterans Day

Brandon Williams was drawn to Medical Weight Loss Clinic the way so many members of our caring staff have been – to help make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Brandon Williams served in the U.S. Army before joining our medical staff in 2020. When he’s not busy working, Brandon says, “You can catch me caring for and spoiling my ferrets; Theodore, Stella and Swiper.”

“What brought me to Medical Weight Loss Clinic is the ability to help patients reach their goals and improve their health when they need it the most,” he says.

If you’ve visited our Clinton Township location recently, you might know Brandon personally. He joined our medical staff in the fall of 2020 and happens to be an Army veteran. Brandon enlisted into the U.S. Army at age 17 and pursued his education and medical certification.

“The military gave me my core values of integrity, loyalty and selfless service,” he says, adding “I’m always accomplishing the mission at Medical Weight Loss Clinic by helping patients reach their goals.”

A Fort Gratiot resident, Brandon joined our company in the middle of a pandemic when so many of our lives were in upheaval. Yet, he says, he feels like part of the family.

“I love my job!” Brandon says. “From helping patients reach their personal goals to working with my phenomenal co-workers at Clinton Township. Teamwork makes the dream work and our team has made lots of dreams a reality. The company itself is one big family, and we make it personal to each patient that walks in those doors.”

That’s the secret to our patients’ successes here at Medical Weight Loss Clinic. We work with every patient one-on-one to customize the best possible experience and help them reach their health goals. It’s why so many people rely on our programs and it’s one reason employees like Brandon enjoy coming to work each day.

In addition, Brandon brings a deep understanding of culinary trends and nutrition. Lucky for us, he’s a self-described avid chef and culinary enthusiast.

“I did a lot of culinary competitions and won medals,” Brandon admits. “Now, I enjoy cooking at home and coming up with recipes that our patients can have on plan.”

So this Veteran’s Day we want to wish Brandon all the best and thank him for his service. We’re so happy he chose to bring his expertise back here to our clinic.
