Horchata and Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake

What is Horchata?

Traditionally, Horchata (pronounced or-CHAH-tah), it is a Mexican drink usually made with rice and is flavored with cinnamon and sweetened with sugar. The rice is ground and mixed with water to make a milky looking drink. It is served over ice as a cooling beverage in Mexico's hot climate.

Horchata and Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake

Servings:
1 Fruit

Ingredients:
1 medium Apple (peeled, cored and cubed)
2 packets Stevia
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 MWLC Horchata Nutritional Supplement Powder
1 MWLC Cheesecake
2 oz. Water

 

Preparation:
Sprinkle the Stevia and cinnamon over the cubed apples and mix well.  Cook apples in the microwave for 4-5 minutes or until tender and allow to cool.

While the apples are cooking, prepare the MWLC Cheesecake according to package directions and add the dry MWLC Horchata powder. 

Fold cooled apples into the cheesecake mixture and refrigerate.
